Schedule:

  • Flexibility to create your own schedule.

  • Evening/weekend availability is encouraged.

Compensation: Varies based on experience and specialty.

  • Compensation occurs every two weeks and is paid per session and group consultation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical treatment to individuals and/or couples using a variety of modalities customized to individual client’s needs. 

  • Attend weekly consultation appointments.

  • Maintain open lines of communication with supervisor/owner regarding treatment progress.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of case management needs and the ability to facilitate referrals.

  • Prepare clinical documentation such as session progress notes, treatment plans, additional assessment/evaluation tools, etc.

  • Document findings of client’s progress and modify plan of care as needed.

  • Maintain regular and timely communication with clients and intake requests. 

  • Formulate DSM-5 diagnoses.

  • Schedule and reschedule clients for their ongoing therapy sessions.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, psychiatrists, and family members as needed.

  • Pursue continuous learning to effectively address the unique challenges of your caseload and the practice’s demographic.

Qualifications:

  • Fully Licensed Clinical Therapist. Ideal candidates include LCSW, PsyD, LMFT, and LCPC

  • Licensed in discipline by the appropriate Illinois State Board.

  • Ability to make assessments and provide appropriate case management.

  • Ability to manage emergencies and provide crisis intervention.

  • Ability to maintain accurate and up to date records. 

  • Necessary knowledge of professional ethical standards and state and federal laws and regulations regarding maintaining confidentiality, as well as the limitations and exceptions to maintaining confidentiality.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
