  1. Journals: Journaling is a great way to reflect on emotions. The Five-Minute Journal has simple prompts to follow on a daily basis (and it only takes five minutes!)

  2. Books: Here are some of my favorite self-improvement books -

    1. Attached: The New Science of Adult Attachment and How It Can Help You Find--and Keep--Love by Amir Levine & Rachel Heller

    2. The Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown

    3. 8 Rules of Love by Jay Shetty

    4. The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz

    5. Atomic Habits by James Clear

  3. Kindle or book subscription: Kindles are a great gift for the avid reader in your life! There are also subscription services like Blind Date with a Book that make for a thoughtful gift.

  4. Coloring books: Coloring or any creative outlet such as painting or drawing allows you to be mindful and creative.

  5. Subscription: Mindfulness apps such as Headspace or Calm are a great way to give the gift of a new habit for someone!

  6. Acupuncture rings: These pinpoint senses in your fingers to help you feel calm. Acupuncture rings are great stocking stuffers!

  7. Breathe stickers: These stickers use the box-breathing technique to promote deep breaths and relaxation.

  8. Aromatherapy candle: Scented candles are great to make a space feel cozy and specifically aromatherapy candles can invite a sense of calm.

  9. Aromatherapy shower steamers: Shower steamers are a great way to turn your average shower into a calming spa environment!

  10. Weighted blanket: These blankets are extremely helpful for anxiety as the heaviness can calm your nervous system.

  11. Weighted stuffed animal: These animals function similarly to weighted blankets but are able to apply more targeted pressure. These can come with a calming cent and can be put in the fridge or microwave for extra benefits!

  12. Bath bombs: Not only are these a fun way to romanticize bathtime, but it encourages taking time for someone’s self-care.

  13. Gift card to spa: Messages or other treatments are a great gift to someone who is need of a self-care day!

  14. Wellness planner: Planners can help people feel organized and less overwhelmed. Ban.do has my favorite planners!

  15. Diffuser with essential oils: Oil diffusers promote improved sleep, reduced stress levels, better focus and many physical health benefits.

  16. Affirmation card deck: Affirmation cards promote a positive mindset that you can carry through your day!

  17. Yoga mat/class pass: Yoga is a great form of exercise that promotes mindfulness and grounding.

  18. Fidget toys: Fidget toys are a great way to release excess energy and regulate your nervous system. They’re especially helpful for those with ADHD/anxiety!
